The Los Angeles County coroner's office has officially deemed the death of a 15-year-old student Friday at Crescenta Valley High School a suicide.
Authorities say it appears that Drew Ferraro got a running start before jumping from a three-story building during the lunch hour. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Los Angeles County sherrif's official said Drew left behind a suicide note, but declined to divulge its contents, saying only that it did address his intent and reasoning.
