Crescenta Valley High School students plan to don black and heavy metal-themed T-shirts Tuesday in honor of music-loving schoolmate Drew Ferraro, who died on campus Friday in what officials say was an apparent suicide.
"His iPod was huge," said 15-year-old Jake Miller, adding that his classmate was a big fan of metal bands including Metallica, Megadeth and Avenged Sevenfold.
Tuesday will be the first day students are back on campus following the incident -- school was closed today for Presidents' Day.
