Southern California Public Radio and the Pasadena Sun are teaming up for an election forum Wednesday, May 9, featuring the five candidates running for the 41st Assembly District on the June 5 ballot. The event will also feature a panel of experts on Pasadena’s Measure A.
The event is free and open to the public. It will be held at KPCC’s Crawford Family Forum, 474 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena. The Measure A discussion will take place from 6 to 6:30 p.m. The Assembly candidate forum will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Both panels will be moderated by members of the Pasadena Sun newsroom staff.
The newly-drawn 41st Assembly District includes Pasadena, South Pasadena, Altadena, Sierra Madre, Monrovia, San Dimas, LaVerne, Claremont and Upland. All five Assembly candidates have agreed to attend. They are: South Pasadena Mayor Michael Cacciotti (D), Pasadena attorney Edward Colton (R), Pasadena City Councilman Chris Holden (D), Claremont Tea Party activist Donna Lowe (R) and Pasadena businesswoman Victoria Rusnak (D).
