In Longpre's most recent outing on Sunday against the Brevard County Manatees, Longpre pitched a scoreless ninth inning in Dunedin's 12-5 home win. On Friday against the Manatees, Longpre, a Cal State Northridge graduate, got two outs in the eighth inning to help the Blue Jays record a 7-4 home victory.

Bergman, a right-hander who graduated from UC Irvine, allowed one run and four hits and struck out four to propel Modesto to a 6-1 victory.
Bergman got four ground outs and 10 fly balls while facing 27 batters to improve to 5-4 and reduce his ERA to 3.12. In 10 appearances, all starts, Bergman has struck out 44 and allowed 25 runs (21 earned) in 60 2/3 innings.
