A masked gunman made off with an undisclosed amount of cash after holding up a 7-Eleven in Glendale early Monday morning.
An employee was cleaning behind the counter about 3:50 a.m. inside the store in the 800 block of West Glenoaks Boulevard when he heard the front door open, according to Glendale Police Department reports.
The robber then popped up from below the counter, pointed a handgun at the employee and demanded cash, police said.
After the employee handed over the money, the robber fled the scene, Sgt. Tom Lorenz said. The exact amount of cash stolen was not available, but police said it was less than $100.
