Glendale police plan to conduct a sobriety checkpoint at an undisclosed location Friday night.
During the checkpoint, officers will be looking for drivers who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and those who are driving without a valid license.
Checkpoints are placed in locations that have the “greatest opportunity for achieving drunk and drugged driving deterrence” and that provide the greatest safety for officers and the public, according to the announcement.
