Those interested in applying to the fire academy are encouraged to attend one of the free VFA monthly recruitment information workshops. The meetings are designed to assist prospective cadets in making an informed decision about joining the Verdugo Fire Academy. Academy staff, instructors and cadets will be available to answer questions and provide one-on-one career guidance.
