Downsized Cruise Night was first class

July 27, 2012

Even though Cruise Night was reduced from five blocks to three, saving the Community Service/Parks Division valuable time, money and resources, the department and its director, Jess Durand, as well as the many dedicated volunteers, should be commended for putting on an outstanding, first-class event.

I particularly enjoyed seeing a 1932 Packard exhibited near Damon’s. Even Aram Kazazian, who had a few vehicles himself at the event, had to go over and look for himself when I told him about this Packard.

So, going smaller can be just as rewarding as a larger show. Again, thanks for a beautiful job.
