Two men have been convicted of murder in connection with a 2009 killing over an insulting text message.
Zareh Manjikian and Vahagn Jurian, both 25, were found guilty Friday of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit assault in the shooting death of 19-year-old Gombert “Mike” Yepremyan in North Hollywood.
Two other defendants, Hovik Dzhuryan, 20, and Khatun Vardanian, 23, were convicted of conspiracy for their role in the incident, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney's office.
