Police have locked down an entire Glendale neighborhood this morning as they search for one of two men who allegedly fled on foot during a traffic stop.
Officers have arrested one of the men, but they are still looking for the second man, who was described as heavy set and Latino or white, Glendale Police Sgt. Tom Lorenz said.
The streets under police lockdown are Ruberta, Justin and Sonora avenues from San Fernando Road and Glenoaks Boulevard, he said.
K-9 units are in the neighborhood aiding in the search.
An officer stopped their vehicle at Ruberta Avenue and San Fernando Road, but, for unknown reasons, they ran away during the traffic stop, Lorenz said.
