Three people suffer minor injuries in Glendale house fire

Three people suffered from smoke inhalation Saturday night during a house fire in northwest Glendale, officials said.

The home’s occupants were taken to a local hospital, where they were treated for minor smoke inhalation, according to Brandy Villanueva, Glendale Fire Department spokeswoman.

Firefighters found flames and smoke rising from the rear of the home at 9:01 p.m. in the 1600 block of Larco Way, she said.

The fire was extinguished 30 minutes later. Damage to the home and its contents was estimated at $150,000, according to Villanueva.

Firefighters are  investigating the cause of the blaze, she added.
