GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Glendale Adventist Academy 3, Oakwood 0: Brittany Gregg contributed 22 assists and four digs Tuesday to spark the visiting Cougars to a 25-11, 25-17, 25-18 Liberty League victory. Melisa Lopez added 10 kills, 12 digs and four aces for Glendale Adventist (5-4, 1-1 in league).

Glendale 3, Pasadena 0: The visiting Nitros earned a 25-16, 25-7, 26-24 Pacific League win Tuesday. Glendale improved to 6-4, 2-2 in league.

San Gabriel Mission 3, Holy Family 2: Holy Family fell to San Gabriel Mission, 26-24, 19-25, 25-18, 20-25, 15-6, in an Horizon League home match at Pacific Park Community Center. The Gaels are 5-9, 0-2 in league.

Viewpoint 3, Flintridge Prep 0: Flintridge Prep fell, 25-9, 25-9, 25-18, on Tuesday in a nonleague road match. Flintridge Prep dropped to 1-7.

BOYS’ WATER POLO

Pasadena 13, Hoover 11: The Tornadoes fell Tuesday on the road in a Pacific League opener. Hoover dropped to 2-7.

GIRLS’ TENNIS

Burbank 14, Glendale 4: Host Glendale fell Tuesday in a Pacific League match. The Nitros (4-5, 3-3 in league) received singles wins from Veronika Galstyan (6-1) and Kellie Gong (6-2) and doubles victories from Imani Story and Dani Fabian (6-4) and Mary Pailevanian and Rouzana Hakobyan (6-1).

Louisville 15, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 3: The Tologs suffered a Mission League home defeat Tuesday at Fremont Tennis Center.

Mayfield 11, Flintridge Prep 7: Roya Gheissari of Flintridge Prep swept her three sets, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, on Tuesday in a Prep League home match at Scholl Canyon Tennis Center. Suzie Kim also swept her three sets, 6-1, 6-4, 6-0) for Flintridge Prep (1-6, 1-1 in league).

WOMEN’S SOCCER

Glendale Community College 0, Citrus College 0: The Vaqueros began Western State Conference South Division play Tuesday with a scoreless road deadlock. Glendale is 3-1-4.

MEN’S SOCCER

Santa Monica City College 3, Glendale Community College 0: Host Glendale fell Tuesday in a Western State Conference South Division match. The Vaqueros dropped to 2-6-1, 1-4 in the division.
