Crescenta Valley High tennis dispatches Burroughs with ease

GIRLS’ TENNIS

Crescenta Valley 14, Burroughs 4: The visiting Falcons won all nine doubles sets Tuesday in a Pacific League match. Crescenta Valley (8-4, 7-3 in league) saw its No. 1 doubles team of Alexa Gregorian and Jackie Dilanchyan win, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0.

Glendale 10, Marshall Fundamental 8: Glendale (6-6) got two singles wins from Veronika Galstyan (6-3, 7-5) and two doubles victories from Dani Fabian and Imani Story (6-4, 7-5) to notch a nonleague home victory Tuesday.

Harvard-Westlake 14, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 4: Host Flintridge Sacred Heart dropped a Mission League match at Fremont Tennis Center. The Tologs are 5-8, 2-5 in league.

Webb 11, Flintridge Prep 7: Flintridge Prep’s doubles team of Cady Deck and Lori Pridjian swept their three sets Tuesday in a Prep League road match. The Rebels dropped to 1-10, 1-5 in league.

Arcadia 15, Hoover 3: Host Hoover fell in a Pacific League match Tuesday. No. 1 singles player Sara Kim posted a 6-3 victory for the Tornadoes (4-7, 2-7 in league).

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Crescenta Valley 3, Pasadena 1: Nannette Gregorain finished with 11 aces and Marina Torres contributed 25 assists Tuesday to spark the host Falcons to a 25-12, 23-25, 26-24, 25-22 Pacific League victory. Katie Sandoval contributed 12 kills for Crescenta Valley (5-3 in league).

Pasadena Poly 3, Flintridge Prep 0: Dani Motte had nine kills and three aces for the visiting Rebels, who suffered a 25-12, 25-11, 25-15 Prep League defeat. Flintridge Prep dipped to 1-11, 0-7 in league.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

Glendale Community College 1, L.A. Valley College 1: The host Vaqueros earned a tie Tuesday in a Western State Conference South Division match. Glendale is 4-3-5, 1-2-2 in the division.

MEN’S SOCCER

Citrus College 5, Glendale Community College 1: Michael Ajemian scored the lone goal Tuesday for the Vaqueros in a Western State Conference road match. Glendale is 2-10-1, 1-7 in the division.
