  • Descendants of the more than 2,500 Japanese and other citizens who were interned at Tuna Canyon Detention Center during WWII returned to the site on Monday to hold a purification ceremony where Verdugo Hills Golf Course now stands. Los Angeles Daily News has photos from the event.

  • Foothill Boulevard traffic lights went out in La Cañada Flintridge on Monday when a critter crawled into electrical equipment, causing a power outage in the areas along Foothill Boulevard.
