A 23-year-old Glendale man pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to two counts of burglary and one count of possession of burglary tools after he allegedly broke into three cars, according to police.
Responding to a call around 5 a.m. on Friday, Glendale police officers reportedly saw Roberto Agustin Balsach hiding behind an electrical box in the 1700 block of East Chevy Chase Drive, police said.
“He was within 100 feet of three cars that had been broken into,” Glendale Police Department spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot said.
Police found a burglary tool in Balsach’s jacket pocket that he allegedly used to break into the three vehicles to take a new vehicle headlamp, a remote control and a cellphone, Lightfoot said.
