Hoover tornado marching band wants your unwanted electronics

Hoover High School's marching band will collect unwanted electronic items Saturday to raise money for the band.

They welcome computers, copiers, scanners, printers, microwaves, cell phones, stereos, televisions and glass and paper.

The band will arrange to pick-up large donations, and will also appreciate corporate donations of electronic waste.

The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 15 in the visitor parking lot at 651, Glenwood Road.
