  • The city of La Cañada Flintridge is extending its application deadline for residents interested in filling several open City Commission and Committee seats to April 7.

  • A resident who made several costly renovations to his Greenridge Drive home without acquiring the necessary building and safety permits was denied a last-ditch effort to keep his home office Monday night, when the La Cañada Flintridge City Council adopted a resolution dictating the return of the home to its pre-existing condition.

  • In the interest of gender equality, 10 male students at La Cañada High School vied for the title of “Mr. La Cañada” Friday night during a first-ever male beauty pageant hosted by the school’s Associated Student Body.

  • Roosevelt Middle School and Glendale Unified’s headquarters will be among the first sites in the Glendale school district to receive new camera systems in a district-wide effort to enhance security on campuses.
