Normally Foothill Boulevard is the community’s “straight through shot” to all that is Crescenta Valley. The road is wide, the lights are timed and, except for slight congestion during school drop-off and pick-up times, the traveling is pretty uneventful. But recently, there have been delays due to traffic accidents along Foothill. The first was on Oct. 15 when a Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s patrol unit driven by Deputy William Fillpot was involved in an accident with another driver about 12:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of Foothill Boulevard.
