The biggest surprise I found when I saw ?High School Musical 3: Senior Year? wasn?t even in the movie. With all the built-in anticipation from its two predecessor TV counterparts and Disney?s usual carefully orchestrated pre-release marketing mania, it was finding that there was no long line to buy tickets and that the theater wasn?t completely sold out. That?s probably the only aspect that is not predictable because everything else about the film is. But don?t take that to mean it?

Reading Is Fundamental and Macy’s, which has a store in the Glendale Galleria, have teamed up to launch Book a Brighter Future, a national partnership to raise awareness and support of children’s literacy. The Book a Brighter Future campaign is an annual promotion held at Macy’s stores during the back-to-school season to help raise money for local Reading Is Fundamental programs, and to provide reading resources to children. The latest campaign provides an opportunity for Macy’s Glendale customers to join the effort and have an impact on literacy in their community.
