L.A. Falcons ready for new season The Los Angeles Falcons Cross-Country Team is seeking athletes ages 5-15 for the upcoming season. There are five divisions (based on their age as of Dec. 31, 2008): Gremlins (ages 5-7), Bantams (8-9), Midgets (10-11), Youth (12-13), and Intermediates (14-15). Competition will take place throughout the San Fernando Valley. Falcon head Coach Pablo Carlos founded the team in 1994. Registration and orientation will be at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at Crescenta Valley Park, New York and Honolulu avenues, La Crescenta.
