Paul M. Anderson GLENDALE -- Oscar F. Lafarga caught a break Friday. A judge cleared him of violating his probation on a Glendale theft charge because the Los Angeles police officer who testified against him in a separate cocaine case admitted to authorities he lied. When Judge Terry Green dismissed the charges against Lafarga Friday he became the latest in a long line of people caught up in the ongoing LAPD corruption probe. Lafarga was arrested in Glendale in 1995 and ultimately pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property.
