Students are getting ready to head back to school on Sept. 2. This week Rosemont Middle School students were welcomed at the school?s traditional Howdy Day. On Tuesday freshmen filled MacDonald Auditorium as Principal Linda Evans welcomed them to Crescenta Valley High School. She told them of the school?s high achieving academics and strong community service program. Evans urged the students to take advantage of everything the school had to offer. The lines were long on Tuesday but the freshmen smiled through it all as they bought their Associated Student Body cards and student planners at the school?

Tina Martin Tina Martin is a sophomore at Crescenta Valley High School. I have mixed feelings about "The Wedding Planner." It was cute yet predictable. I enjoyed watching Jennifer Lopez's cute hair and Matthew McConaughey's cute smile, but other than that, this movie didn't offer anything. The trailers give away the entire story line (if a whole movie can be summed up in a 30-second commercial, don't go see it) and the ending is exactly what the audiences wants, a happy one. There are no surprises, because everyone already knows that Jennifer is only an OK actress.
