Amber Willard SOUTHWEST GLENDALE -- Glendale Police are investigating a bank robbery in which a woman asked a teller for change and then demanding money, saying it was a robbery. The woman entered the Bank of America at 3812 San Fernando Road shortly before 6 p.m. and asked for change for a $50 bill she handed a teller, police said. She then demanded money, which the teller handed her in a bag, according to police reports. On her way out of the bank, the woman told a security guard there was a problem inside the bank and walked away, west on Cerritos Avenue.

Amber Willard NORTHWEST GLENDALE -- Glendale Police are investigating a robbery at a 7-Eleven in which the robber stole money from the registers, as well as the clerk's wallet and several cartons of cigarettes. The worker was cleaning the store at 843 W. Glenoaks Blvd. at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday when the man came to the counter. He lifted his shirt to show a handgun tucked in the waistband and demanded the clerk's wallet, police said. The robber also demanded money from the cash registers and a plastic bag, which he ordered the clerk to fill with cartons of cigarettes, police said.

Amber Willard SOUTHWEST GLENDALE -- Glendale Police are searching for two men who robbed a woman of her purse as she crossed a parking lot in the 1000 block of South Brand Boulevard. The woman told police the men grabbed her arms from behind shortly after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday and demanded her purse, pressing what felt like a knife against her back. One of the men cut her purse strap and pulled it from her before the men ran behind a building and out of sight, the victim told police.

Amber Willard SOUTHWEST GLENDALE -- Glendale Police are searching for three men who robbed a store of PlayStation games and playing equipment. Three men entered Game Force at 224 W. Colorado St. about 11:40 a.m. Monday, posing as customers, police said. After a few minutes of shopping, one of the men pulled a handgun and forced two employees to the ground, according to police reports. While binding the workers' hands, the robbers stole one of the victims' watches, along with about $4,000 worth of PlayStation games and controllers, police said.

Amber Willard NORTHEAST GLENDALE -- Glendale Police are searching for a man who robbed a woman at her front door. The woman was walking home when she was struck in the back of the head and forced to the ground about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. A man pulled her purse from her and ran to a waiting SUV, which drove north up the street, police said. The incident occurred in the 300 block of North Kenwood Street. Amber Willard NORTHWEST GLENDALE -- Glendale Police are searching for two men who punched and kicked a man to the ground, then stole his wallet. The victim was walking at Victory Boulevard and Irving Avenue about 11 p.m. Tuesday when two men approached and asked him for a cigarette, police said. One of the men then punched the victim in the face and after he fell, both men kicked him. During the assault, the victim's wallet was taken. Amber Willard NORTHEAST GLENDALE -- Glendale Police are searching for two men who robbed a local liquor store and might have hit one in Burbank hours before. The men entered Kent Liquor at 3500 Verdugo Road about 8:30 p.m. Friday and, after taking drinks from a wall cooler, one of them pointed a gun at the clerk, police said. The other robber took money from the cash register. The men stole the phones from the store, as well as magazines and cigarettes.

Amber Willard NORTHWEST GLENDALE -- Glendale Police are investigating a robbery in which a man swiped a woman's purse as she sat in the waiting area at North Pacific Dentistry. The woman told police the man walked into the office behind her shortly after 1:30 p.m. Friday and spoke briefly with the receptionist before going into a back room. When he returned, the man grabbed the woman's purse from the floor near her feet and ran out of the office, police said.

Amber Willard SOUTHWEST GLENDALE -- Glendale Police are searching for a man who jerked a woman's purse from her shoulder and ran away. The robbery occurred in the 200 block of South Pacific Avenue about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The woman was walking on the sidewalk when someone pulled her purse from behind, according to police reports. She spun around and fell down, and saw the man running away with her purse in his hand, police said.
