Speakers program kicks off today The Encore speakers? program at Glendale Community College is scheduled to open its spring session with presentations at 10 a.m. today. Maria Kretzmann, who represents the college?s Biology Department, will talk about the work at the Baja Field Station in Mexico. At 1 p.m., Ellis Minor, a scientist with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, will give an update on the Cassini Mission in orbit around Saturn, as well as other missions at the space center.
