Marjorie E. Terrien has kindly enlightened us -- the immigrants who may not be of normal intelligence -- that we have to be careful when we cross the street. We have to watch out for those careless Glendale drivers. But she doesn't tell us what, if anything, she is doing about those drivers. And are "these" drivers from "those" countries where traffic signs are ignored, or were they born and bred in the good ol' U.S. of A? Does she talk to them too?

While driving from Burbank to Glendale on a recent afternoon, I decided to take Glenoaks Boulevard. I pulled up to the light at Highland Avenue and waited. When it turned green, this white car in front of me floored the gas pedal and off he went - so fast that his car violently veered from left-to-right and I honestly thought he was going to crash. He straightened himself out and then turned onto Kenilworth. Good riddance. I looked at the car next to me and we both were shaking our heads in disbelief.
