I've lived all over the world - London, Barcelona, New York, Boston. My friends and family call me a world traveler. Now, the city where I've decided to settle down, Glendale, is home to the worst speeding I've ever seen. It's not the frequency that gets to you, it's the speed - a quiet neighborhood like ours deafened by random cars swerving through narrow streets at ungodly speeds. It's a peculiar and dangerous phenomenon. And it has to be stopped. Glendale consistently ranks near the top for having the most traffic accidents of any city in the country.

We are often faced with some puzzling decisions when we decide to eat out. We often ask ourselves, "where should we go? Is there someplace we haven't tried before?" Sometimes those decisions are made by a simple drive down the boulevard. Unfortunately, using this "drive-by" method might allow you to miss some unique dining opportunities, such as 100 West American Grill, which is ensconced safely inside the Hilton Hotel Glendale on Glenoaks Boulevard. At 100 West, it has been their goal to "provide an exceptional and upscale dining experience for the Glendale community," since they began operations in 1992.
