SAN MARINO — Samantha Fabian could feel a bit of pressure building up when she stepped to the plate with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning. Fabian, a member of the Foothill 9-10 All-Star Softball team, didn’t let the pressure get to her during her biggest plate appearance of the playoffs. Fabian grounded a two-run single to center to give Foothill a 4-3 victory against San Fernando in an opening-round game of the Section 2 Tournament on Friday night at Huntington Middle School.
