Alecia Foster NORTHWEST GLENDALE -- Glendale High Co-principal Mike Livingston couldn't stop laughing at his school's two special guests. "They both taught here. They should have known the song," he said with a chuckle. The two guests, Hoover High co-principals Kevin Welsh and Hasmik Danielian, paused to crack jokes and comment on the Glendale High fight song as they tried to sing it for students Wednesday morning. The song was part of a friendly bet made between the schools prior to the big Hoover-Glendale football game Nov. 9. The bet has become a tradition for the two schools.

Matt Bellner of Burbank is a music librarian and actor. If you're older than 6, there is no logical reason to see "Looney Tunes: Back in Action," unless you have the mental capacity of a 6-year-old. If that's the case, you'll love this film. "Looney Tunes" is nothing more than a "Roger Rabbit" rip-off where cartoon characters interact with actors. The problem here is that there is no story. The plot revolves around Steve Martin's character trying to turn the entire world into monkeys.

Helen Fower, 17, of Glendale, is a senior at Holy Family High School in Glendale. Disney's "Teacher's Pet" is a fun-filled movie for people of all ages. This movie is about a dog, Spot, who is brighter than other pets. His dream has always been to have the fairy from "Pinocchio" come to him and turn him into a real boy. He wants to have an education, so he dresses up like a human boy, Scott, and enrolls himself in school. He hears about a mad scientist, Dr. Krank, who claims that he can turn animals into humans, and then sets out on a mission to find him. I enjoyed this movie because it never leaves you bored.

Humor for younger ones Ronnie Insalaco, 13, of Glendale is an eighth-grader at St. Bede The Venerable school in La Canada Flintridge. Eddie Murphy did great playing six different characters in the Klump family. His masculine roles and feminine roles were very well diguised. From the start, the movie had me and the audience laughing. At times, the laughter was intense. However, the middle and ending were a bit slower. Perhaps the jokes could have been more spaced throughout the movie.

Every once in a while, each of us shoots off our mouth and says something stupid. When you do it, your wife, your carpool pal or the woman in the next cubicle are the only ones who have to put up with it. When I do it here, a few thousand people are subjected to dumbness. On those occasions I am a bonehead, I hope it's of some consolation to all who are victimized by it to know that the extent of my humiliation is in direct proportion to the number witnessing it. Can anyone guess who did something very stupid in their newspaper column last Tuesday?
