JOYCE RUDOLPH The second offering in the Alex Family Film Series will be "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang," (1968) flying across the big screen at 2 p.m. today at The Alex Theatre. Dick Van Dyke stars as an inventor who creates a flying vehicle that takes him and a group of youngsters to a town where children are disliked. Sally Ann Howes also stars in this musical written by the duo of Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman, who also wrote the music for "Mary Poppins."
