Edward Han When it comes to successful businesses, a small window-washing company based in La Crescenta is not one that immediately comes to mind. But to Paul Dutton, the founder of Paul's Professional Window Washing, going door-to-door with nothing but a squeegee and a smile has led to a business that, over the course of 20 years, he has developed, grown, and now, franchised. JPL celebrated the one-year anniversary of the Spirit's landing on Mars this week at its offices in La Canada Flintridge. Spirit, landed on Mars on Jan. 3, 2004, and Opportunity landed Jan. 24. GLENDALE ? As far as St. Francis High soccer Coach Glen Appels is concerned, his team is still playing well. Entering Monday afternoon's Mission League game at Loyola High, the Golden Knights had won six straight contests and notched shutouts in four of their last five games. On Monday, St. Francis' steady, if not dominant, play continued. Unfortunately for the Golden Knights, it didn't result in a point, as the Cubs tallied a 1-0 victory. "It was just mostly frustrating," said Appels of the game in general, "to have as many chances as we did and not come away with anything."
