The following incidents were taken from police reports. 500 block of Granada Street: A man told police his car was stolen Tuesday. Louise Street, south of Broadway: A man told police his car was stolen Tuesday. 4600 block of San Fernando Road: A 35-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and a concealed knife. 4600 block of San Fernando Road: A 19-year-old Los Angeles woman and a 21-year-old Sunland woman were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of stealing a car. 3931 Lowell Ave.: A 54-year-old San Diego man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of assaulting the manager at Foothill Athletic Club during an argument about his canceled membership.

Grandview Avenue and Glenoaks Boulevard: A 43-year-old Glendale man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of driving under the influence and trying to bribe a police officer. Honolulu and New York avenues: A 43-year-old La Crescenta man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of driving under the influence. 140 block of North Isabel Street: A 45-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Healthy Kids day held at Two Strike On April 25, the Crescenta-Cañada and Verdugo Hills Family YMCAs held their annual Healthy Kids Day at Two Strike Park in La Crescenta. This free event invited children and families from all over the community to enjoy the festivities Free food, entertainment, and activities including, a jumper, climbing wall, face painting, and games were made available to all. The event also gave children the special privilege of explore a fire engine and police car, courtesy of Station 63 and Deputy Eric Matejka.

Amber Willard GLENDALE -- A 24-year-old Los Angeles man was being held on $35,000 bail by Glendale police after allegedly leading them on a short chase Wednesday morning. Joshua Corona was arrested just after 10:30 a.m. on suspicion of evading officers and driving recklessly, which led to a traffic accident, police said. Corona, who was driving a Chevrolet Monte Carlo, did not stop when a motorcycle officer's radar measured him speeding near Adams Street and Crescent Drive about 10:20 a.m., police said.

Darleene Barrientos A Glendale man climbed out a window and fled on foot Thursday morning after locking himself in his apartment when officers tried to serve him with an arrest warrant. Armen Torosian, 28, who was taken into custody Thursday after a less-than-hourlong search, fled his apartment in the 400 block of West Maple Street. Torosian had locked himself in his apartment about 9:35 a.m., then escaped out his window, hiding under a nearby house, Glendale Police spokeswoman Agent Leticia Chang said.

A  19-year-old motorist was arrested late Tuesday after he allegedly struck and killed an elderly Burbank woman in North Glendale while under the influence of marijuana, police said. The 81-year-old woman, Kenarik Thomassian Shamlian, was pronounced dead in the 1100 block of North Central Avenue, according to Los Angeles County coroner's spokesman Ed Winter. Shamlian was crossing west on Central Avenue about 11 p.m. when the motorist, who police identified as Armen Avanesian, was headed south on the same street, striking her with his 2005 Toyota Camry, Sgt. Tom Lorenz said.
