The following information was taken from police reports: 1100 block of Spazier Avenue: A Glendale couple reported Monday $6,600 worth of jewelry was stolen from their home. San Fernando Road and Harvard Street: A Los Angeles man was arrested Monday on suspicion of possessing drugs. 300 block of Burchett Street: A Glendale man reported Monday his camera and briefcase worth $150 were stolen from his car. 1500 block of East Colorado Street: A Glendale man was arrested Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence of cocaine.

San Fernando Road and Grover Avenue: A 1991 GMC van was reported stolen Tuesday. 1000 block of East Garfield Avenue: Sunglasses were reported stolen from a car sometime between Sunday and Monday. 1000 block of East Garfield Avenue: A stereo was reported stolen from a car sometime between Sunday and Monday. 400 block of West Windsor Road: A cell phone was reported stolen sometime between Friday and Saturday.

The following incidents were taken from police reports. San Fernando Road and Princeton Street: A 20-year-old Winnetka man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of possessing marijuana. Brand Boulevard and Milford Street: A 25-year-old Carson man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of possessing marijuana. 2100 Glendale Galleria: A 58-year-old La Puente woman was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of hiding clothing in a bag and leaving Macy's without paying for it. 2100 Glendale Galleria: A 22-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of putting jewelry in his pants pocket and leaving Macy's without paying for it. 1800 block of Oakwood Avenue: A man told police someone forces open a sliding window and took a briefcase and cell phone from his truck overnight Monday.

The Fairmont Avenue bridge continues to take shape as crews start placing reinforcement steel for the decks spanning San Fernando Road and the railroad tracks. The steel will be placed in four stages on top of the temporary support structures for the bridge deck, according to the latest notification from the Public Works Department. City officials have been in talks with railroad stakeholders for permission to do the work over the rail lines during daytime hours, but announced that they would update the surrounding neighborhood should any nighttime work be needed.

Buck Wargo GLENDALE -- Glendale residents will get their first look Thursday night at the design for ramps off the Ventura (134) Freeway. Caltrans and Glendale officials will be hosting a public hearing on the $34.2-million redesign of the interchange east of San Fernando Road on the Ventura (134) Freeway. Caltrans proposes to widen the westbound on-and-off ramps at Fairmont Avenue and eastbound onramp at Doran Street. The ramps would be metered to limit access during heavy traffic.

Buck Wargo GLENDALE -- A sports utility vehicle crashed into a building on San Fernando Road, slightly injuring a 16-year-old passenger. Glendale Police are investigating the accident that happened just before midnight Sunday at the intersection of San Fernando and Western Avenue. A 1999 Toyota sport utility vehicle driven by Naira Margaryan, 38, of Glendale was heading west on San Fernando Road. She collided with a 1998 Lexus driven by Mariam Sarmicanic, 47, of Burbank who was heading north on Western Avenue, according to an accident report from the Glendale Police Department.
