Let the good time rock on Saturday Turn the music up and let The Surfaris play it loud. This year’s Cruise Night on Saturday is going to be a blast. Put the main stage back at Wilson Avenue and Brand Boulevard and let the Tokens rock the night away. When I was a kid growing up, all my mother played was oldies. No wonder the house rocked so much. Everybody should pack the streets up and down Brand to make this the biggest street party in Southern California when The Surfaris play “Wipe out.” Bring your dancing shoes because, somehow, I believe in my heart that song brings Daytona Beach to Southern California.
