The following were taken from daily booking reports from the Glendale Police Department. Area 1   200 block of West Broadway Ryan Blanton, 30, was arrested April 16 on suspicion of burglary and identity theft.   South Glendale Avenue and San Fernando Road Roberto Hernandez, 38, was arrested April 16 on suspicion of driving without a valid driver’s license.   200 block of North Central Avenue Enrique Vega, 45, was arrested April 16 on suspicion of burglary and a warrant for failing to appear in court or pay a fine.

Thieves allegedly broke into a south Glendale pharmacy on Tuesday and stole prescription pills, police said. An employee arrived at about 9 a.m. at the pharmacy in the 400 block of West Broadway and noticed a window on the eastside of the building was smashed, according to Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot. Soon after, investigators discovered that thieves entered the pharmacy sometime between 7 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday and stole an unknown amount of prescription pills, authorities said.

Investigators are investigating the cause of a small blaze that broke out atop the Glendale Galleria early Tuesday. Smoke and fire was reported about 7:01 a.m. on a roof area above the food court inside the mall in the 100 block of West Broadway, said Brandy Villanueva, a Glendale Fire Department spokeswoman. Music from Broadway, TV and film gets a pops twist when the Glendale Renaissance Orchestra performs at the Alex Theatre. The evening's highlight is a tribute by guest star vocalist Lorna Luft to her mother, Judy Garland. The third concert of the season, "Broadway Meets Hollywood," will be on Sept. 16. Luft will sing a 40-minute segment titled "Songs My Mother Taught Me. " She has performed in concert throughout the world, on and off Broadway, and in film and television. "This is my office," she said.

The following were taken from daily booking reports from the Glendale Police Department.   Area 1   300 block of West Colorado Street Ruben Negrete, 30, was arrested April 16 on suspicion of burglary.   400 block of West Broadway Nicole Yeboah, 20, was arrested April 16 on a warrant for failing to appear in court or pay a fine.   400 block of West Maple Street Daniel Franco, 56, was arrested April 17 on suspicion of driving on a suspended or revoked driver’s license.
